Insomnia can feel like torture.  It’s very common - though that’s not much consolation when you’re wide awake at 3am - and can affect every area of your life, from your relationships to your work. Lack of sleep can damage our health and wellbeing, both physically and mentally.

According to the UK Mental Health Foundation:
